Prenuptial Dinner – Monday, December 20, 2012
My mother-in-law is so sweet! She wanted to do something special for us for our wedding and planned a fabulous prenuptial dinner. It was held at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building in Salt Lake City. That night it was cold and snowing but was absolutely beautiful. Earlier that day was pretty busy. We spent the entire day decorating for our luncheon with my family and friends in Salem. We also fit in time to run errands which turned out to be the most stressful mainly because piles of snow were melting into deep puddles of freezing water. I may have stepped in one or two. Around 4:30 pm we rushed back up to Provo to freshen up and then sped up to Salt Lake for the dinner. When we walked in I couldn’t believe it. It was beautiful down to the last detail. We had our own room so it was VIP only. We greeted our guests and then all sat down at our assigned seats. We ate at a delicious buffet, watched a power point presentation with fun pictures of us and heard our guest’s memories of us. It was such a wonderful addition to our wedding. After it was over the Brown family went to Temple Square but we drove home because we had a big day ahead of us. Jordan went to his apartment for the last time and I slept in Salem at my Aunt and Uncle’s house. Here are some pictures of that night (thank you Lindsey for the pictures :)).
